Is it ok to use hair gel on a costume wig?

I don't guess I'm going to need to use it again after tonight.


It's a costume party and my character has sweat soaked clunky hair and the wig is just normal dry hair, nothing like the character.


Is it ok to use hair gel on the wig or will the hairs fall out? or will it not look right? Or is there something else I should use?

IF it's a good wig it should probably be ok. If it's a cheap costume wig, then you never know. The worst thing that could probably happen is that your wig has bad dandruff. My advice would be to


1.Check the box for guidelines


2.Contact your local salon


3.And buy high quality gel
