Will black hair gel or spray (Halloween) turn blonde hair green or is that just the semi or permanent colors?

I'm going to be a goth faerie for Halloween and I have dishwater blonde hair. I wanted to put black chunky streaks throughout it but I'm afraid of the outcome. I know it's probably a dumb question but I REALLY don't want to end up with green hair, LOL! It's more likely to go purple than green.


My friend tried to dye her highlighted blonde hair black, and ended up with a funky shade of purple (which looked alright.. then got progressively worse as she tried to wash it out)


But purple would work for a goth fairy :P

colored hair gels, sprays, mousses, etc. are only temporary colors, meaning they will wash out within a few shampoos. the more you wash it, the more you will get it to fade and eventually wash completely out. once it starts fading it might look green because of your blonde hair, but it's only temprary so i wouldn't worry about it. just wash your hair a lot.
