Gel keeps your hair stiff and kind of crunchy and gives it that ';wet'; look. Wax keeps hair softer than gel while still upholding a style, and doesn't look wet. What is the diffrence between hair gel and hair wax ?
Hair gel is generally a stiff wet look. Wax is firm, yet movable and more of a dry look. Between those choices, paste is best. Paste is sticky in your hand and very movable yet it will hold all day. It will separate your hair to look more pacey
Hair wax is really sticky and if you want a hairstyle that looks natural but stays like you want it to then that's the one to use. Hair gel is shiny and it really shows but it holds better than hair wax.
gel is used on wet hair to make a style last through the day and still allow the hair to move, wax flat out keeps it stiff.
