Is it okay to put hair gel in my braids?

I've had the braids in since last friday, and little strands of hair are starting to come out. How do I put them back down and is it okay if I use hair gel? God bless you all.Is it okay to put hair gel in my braids?

Don't use gel because it flakes. Use daily doctor braid spray and tie your hair up each night.
yeah, just makes your hair more greesy. but get a good gell and it won't. don't use too much
Unless you are prepared to cut your head off from the itching I suggest you not but gel in your braids...
sure no problemo just use gell or you can use some hair spray.
