What is the best kind of hair gel?

Does anybody know of a kind of gel that will not cause ANY damage to my hair, not make it look all shiny, greasy or hard, that costs less then 10 bucks for a week's worth of it?What is the best kind of hair gel?
you can use suave or ';lots of curls styling gel'; i use both and the last a month for me [i use it like 3 times a week...]

Redken - they make different levels of it depending on the hold you want. From level 4 to 22 is a good range to look in. I have used #8 for years and love it.
