Is there any evidence to support this?
I have seen some people who use gel regularly and have what looks like bald patches.Does hair gel increase the likelihood of male pattern baldness?
Oh gel, men and their gel. What you maybe starting to see on others is the fact that what gels do is bond hairs together (duh you knew this already) but it also tends to have them stick to the scalp. So that when the hair is hard it gets flattened and pushed toward the scalp which can make it look like there are thin spots or make thinning spots look worse. This is why things like Rogaine is a foam, its lighter and you still get hold. Same with a pomade lighter things that are cream based don't look so heavy on your head.Does hair gel increase the likelihood of male pattern baldness?
no. what can happen is the gel is overused and gets hard.then when combing it out people rip out their hair. male pattern baldness is caused by the overproduction of male
testosterone. you can do research on you pc and get all the juice.
weel dats is probaly because the didnt have enough jell in hair to make it dry out or its because they was putting to much jell in their hair to make it fall out so my best advice is to never put to much jell or no jell at all cuz it can fall out from being dry so just keep just enough jell in ur hair
Hair gel only effects the hair that is already grown, unless you rub it into your scalp. Baldness is caused by problems with the hair follicle itself (the part that's under the skin, it actually creates the individual hair).
They may be allergic to that brand, or they put too much in and the hair gets stiff and brittle and breaks. Either way, the baldness would likely be temporary.
No but guys that wear hats will increase their chances of getting bald.
yeh of course...i
Yes there hair falls out coz of the chemicals.
