How do I get the hair gel off of my shoes?

I just discovered that I had a bottle of hair gel in the bottom of my dance bag. What I also discovered, though, is that it decided to explode in there. Now I've got the gel all over my pointe shoes, some on the tap of my tap shoes, and some on my ballet shoes. How do I get it off?!How do I get the hair gel off of my shoes?
Take your shoes to your bath tub and find an old toothbrush to scrub with. Take some CLEAR soap (preferably hand soap) and place some on the end of your toothbrush. Run luke warm water and get the area of the shoe wet and gently scrub the gel off. If it still wont completely come off scrub and let the soap and water soak into it before washing it away. Once it comes off rinse the area under the faucet (no need to get the entire shoe wet) and place on a towel to air dry. Next time you need to take hair gel or anything with you you to lessons or anywhere else. Place your sprays, hair gel, and stuff fin a large plastic ziploc bag to prevent leakage onto your clothes.How do I get the hair gel off of my shoes?
maybe with your ballet shoes you can wash it in the washing machine it might work because once i got something on my ballet shoes so i washed it some times you can dry it in the dryer or live it somewhere to dry like your bathroom.
