What the differendce between hair gel and hair putty?

because i noticed they do different things to your hair, but whats the actual difference?What the differendce between hair gel and hair putty?
not sure, but gel dries harder, and i think putty is a strong shaper, in that it makes the hair a bit stiffer but not hard.What the differendce between hair gel and hair putty?
Gel is much thinner, and gives a strong but brittle hold. Putty will give you a strong flexible hold, and goes on thick. Putty wil give you a piecey look, gel holds everything together.
gel is usually water-based





putty is usually petroleum-based (um, think vaseline) or wax-based (think beeswax).
