Anything but the $1 hair gel at the Dollar General. Try stuff that costs a little more like 14$ a jar. My mom is a hairdresser and buys her stuff from a store that has a stop sign on it reading ';STOP: Professional licensed hairdressers only allowed to purchase hair products.

Im mixed as well,, but for some reason my hair is flat as hell and I can barely briad it. So Im dubbed having ';white-girl hair'; Be thankful your hair stays where you put it. :3
I saw some at K-Mart one day. It said wet look on the bottle or something like that, but if you browse through the hair care aisles at like Wal-Mart, Target, or K-Mart you could find a good kind.
